`

`Step 1: Choose Your Mode

`

`VocalSynth 2.01 offers three different modes of operation: Auto, MIDI, and Sidechain. Each mode gives you a different way of controlling the vocal effects.`

``

  • `Auto mode: This is the simplest mode, where VocalSynth 2.01 automatically detects the pitch and formant of your vocal input and applies the effects accordingly. You can adjust the key and scale of your vocal track to fine-tune the pitch detection.

`

  • `MIDI mode: This mode allows you to play the vocal effects with a MIDI keyboard or controller. You can use the MIDI input to trigger notes, chords, or melodies with the vocal effects. You can also use the MIDI velocity to control the wet/dry mix of the effects.

`

  • `Sidechain mode: This mode lets you use an external audio signal as the carrier for the vocal effects. You can use any audio source, such as a synth, guitar, or drum loop, to modulate your vocals with the effects. You can also use the sidechain input to trigger envelopes and gates for rhythmic effects.

`

``

`You can switch between the modes by clicking on the icons at the top of the plug-in window.`

`Step 2: Choose Your Modules

`

`VocalSynth 2.01 features five modules that each offer a different type of vocal effect. You can use them individually or blend them together for unique combinations. You can also adjust the level and pan of each module with the sliders and knobs at the bottom of the plug-in window.`

``

  • `Vocoder: This module emulates the classic vocoder effect that blends your vocals with a synthesized sound. You can choose from various vocoder types, such as vintage, smooth, hard, or modular, and adjust parameters such as bands, bandwidth, formant shift, and stereo width.

`

  • `Talkbox: This module simulates the talkbox effect that uses a tube and a speaker to shape your vocals with your mouth movements. You can choose from different talkbox types, such as classic, bassy, or airy, and adjust parameters such as drive, tone, formant shift, and mix.

`

  • `Polyvox: This module creates harmonies and layers from your vocals. You can choose from different polyvox types, such as natural, synthetic, or octave, and adjust parameters such as voices, pitch shift, formant shift, and humanize.

`

  • `Compuvox: This module recreates the glitchy and robotic sounds of computerized speech synthesis. You can choose from different compuvox types, such as bitspeek, speak & spell, or number station, and adjust parameters such as resolution, bits, buffer size, and mix.

`

  • `Biovox: This module models the physical characteristics of the human vocal tract. You can choose from different biovox types, such as nasal, breathy, or whispery, and adjust parameters such as vowel shape, clarity, breathiness,

`

`and nasality.`

``

`You can activate or deactivate each module by clicking on its name at the top of the plug-in window.`

`Step 3: Choose Your Effects

`

`VocalSynth 2.01 also features a multi-effects chain that lets you add some extra flavor to your vocal effects. You can choose from seven effects: distortion, filter, transform (a convolution reverb), chorus (a modulation effect), delay (a time-based effect), ring mod (a frequency-based effect), and shred ( e0e6b7cb5c
